how do i get the photos from my computer onto a CD, Do i have to buy something for it or what?

If you are running XP and your photos are stored in MY PICTURES highlight the ones you want to copy, bring down Picture Tasks on the left hand side menu, and then clip copy all items to CD.

Your CD player also needs to be a CD writer as well.
