Making pages look right

I have a desktop(XP) and a laptop(98).If I view the answerbank for instance on the laptop it looks different.The page is wider( in that there seems to be spare room on the rhs )and there are no horizontal seperating lines between th questions.What needs to ( can be ? ) changed??

Possibly the screen resolution is different on each machine. Right click the desktop -> Properties -> settings and check the screen resolution of each.
