tomtom one clock won't update

Any suggestions: My tomtom one has been in for repair and since it's return to me the clock will not update when the machine is switched off - ie, when switched back on it will be the same time as when it was switched off. Tomtom support said to back up and restore using the cd - this has not worked. I have also tried resetting & restoring factory settings - this hasn't worked either. Anyone know of a solution? If you got it back from the repairer in a defective condition, take it back to them.
