Not quite sure why you want to connect Sky to the BT hub, but you can connect the PS3 wirelessly, but you will need a suitable wireless gaming adapterto play on-line. Netgear sell these. Or, you could use powerline networking, which basically connects to the router/modem via the power sockets. Or, there is a way you can connect your PS3 to your laptop and use its wireless functionality.

Reason for sky was I thought it needed to be connected to phone socket at all times and what would be the adapter for the ps3 to do so? Thanks for your help
You can't connect a phone line wirelessly - you will need to have a cable for Sky (for the first 12 months anyway). As for the PS3, it has built in wifi and should work with your wireless router just fine without any additional hardware.
