A number of options:
Right-click the browser window (not on the QT window) and "Save As". You've probably already tried this!
Use something like Leechget to scan the page for links to downloads.
Pay for Quicktime and you should be able to use its built-in download feature. I use the free version, so can't swear to this.
Look at the source code for the page and try to spot the address of the file (probably ends in .mov or .mp4) put the address into your browser and then try again.
There's a multitude of add-ons for the Firefox browser that will do the trick.
