Im using Altomp3 Gold 5.12 because I want to convert an mpeg 4 into mp3 but its not letting me. When I try to add the file I get:

The following file couldnt be added:
Info: Couldn't decode the file, please install related codec for it.

Please help!!!

I downloaded the file from itunes and its protected. Is there any way to convert it into mp3? I need to in order to play on Myspace!

Put it into a playlist in iTunes, burn it to a disc, then rip the CD so that it's now unprotected.

ok Ive put it on the playlist and copied to a cd but pardon my ignorance...what does ripping a cd mean?
