sounds on PC

You know when you check your messages in Outlook Express, one by one, and you get to the last one and you click on Next and there isn't a next one so you get a 'ting' sound? (You also get the same sound in lots of other places with Microsoft software.) Well my ting has disappeared! Would anyone know how I can get it back?

GO to Settings>Control Panel>Sounds and the 'ting' will be under 'Default Sound' or 'Asterisk' or 'Critical Stop'. Make sure there is a sound file uploaded on there, if not Browse and upload a sound. Hope it helps
