Retrieving information from a faulty sim card

in the process of attempting to slide my sim card out of my phone i have somehow damaged it from the back (just behind the gold metal part) and it is now not detected in any phones.

all my numbers were stored on sim and none were stored on the phone itself

Is there anyway whatsoever of retrieving the data (especially the phone numbers) from the sim?

i doubt it are you sure you have saved them to the sim and not the phone try another sim to check.
By the way you can get free sims all day long on the net dont buy one

try checking the phone with another sim card as some may be saved in the phone.
For the sim card i doubt it can be fixed
dont buy a sim there 3 a day long on the net
