iPod Messed Up.

My iPod wouldn't show artwork no matter what i did or who tried to get it going so i resorted to restoring it now the whole thing has gone t!ts up! It's 2GB and said I didn't have enough space for 400 (average sized) songs so then it does this selection list thing and now I have no artwork, 61 songs (none of which my choice) and a corrupt file on my computer.
Help please.
