Alright, I bought a laptop yesterday, with Vista Home Basic and now I'm having trouble connecting it to the wireless router... I set everything up correctly, but everytime I connect it says "Connected, with limited access" or something like that.. I googled, and appearantly a lot of laptops with Vista on it have this problem with wireless connections... But no one seems to know an answer so.. Help? I have a Philips WiFi router, but I doubt that makes a difference as Vista seems to be the problem, and not the router...

Any other options other than removing vista?

You need to see if there is an update for your Philips router to make it compatible with Vista

Try googling

Philips xxxxxxxxxxx router vista driver
This doesn't answer your question but beware of downloading RealPlayer, I bought a new laptop and downloaded it and it completely ******** it up and I had to take it back to the shop and exchange it ! Apparently RealPlayer says it is not yet compatible with Vista .
