I've had no experience with using a USB network adapter on the PS2. Not too sure if it works, I wouldn't risk it though. Both the ones you were looking at were not intended for use with the PS2, but then again, the PS2 was meant to be able to support generic hardware. I'm using the Official PS2 Network Adapter that connects onto the back of the PS2, not through the front USB ports. Amazon has a nice price on it, http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/stores/deta

, but I'm sure you could find it cheaper elsewhere.

thanks but if they dont work why are people on ebay claiming they work ??

oh one more thing what connection do you need to play on the ps2 network? 56k, 150, or at least 512k..thanks Mike
If they claim they work, then they most likely work. I doubt they are just saying that to get more buyers. About the connection speed: I believe that so long as you are able to connect the ethernet adapter to the internet connection, whether using internet connection sharing or connecting it to a socket on your router, the speed does not matter. It should, at any speed be able to access the games, however, it really is suggested that you using broadband (512) as the game experience may be quite bad and laggy otherwise.
