Someone using my details

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but i can't find an apropriate category, yesterday an invoice was sent to my other half from playboy tv saying they'd debit his account for an subscription, he's not signed up to the service (we don't even own a sky box) , and the bank details provided were completely innacturate (luckily) the annoying thing is the only way of contacting playboy is over phone or via letter, they were unable to help us really as they can't disclose confidential information (obviously) even though the account it in our name.

Does anyone have any information on what we can do to stop this happening, we ask them to terminate the account which they wouldnt, but we want to know who is trying to use our details to access stuff like this and how to stop it happening again

not sure if this makes anysense what so ever, ive searched the net and found nothing of any use.
