smelly dishwasher

i dont know if this is in the right place or not, sorry if its not, but my dishwasher, which is quite a new bosch one, smells. even when ive cleaned it ( the trap and everything), it still smells. its not a "bad" smell as such, its like when you put eggy plates in their and after they just smell funny. it s like it most of the time, but sometimes i get the odd non smelly wash. what can i do to stop this?

Finish dishwasher cleaner ( a bottle you upend in the ctlery basket and run on an empty ash )

Not cheap, so alternatively go to Wilkinson and get a box of Oust dishwasher treatment.

Leave the door ajar overnight so it ventlates.

By the way how did you afford a new Bosch dishwasher but need to fiddle insurance for a TV?

hahaha, thanks ive tried finish cleaner. as regards to the affording the dishwasher, my grandad died, mum got lots of money and bought us some things we needed, theyre always helping us out, so i cant ask them for a tv!!!LOL :-) god this standing on your own two feet can be a bl@@dy pain at times!

Cut 2 lemons in half and put all 4 bits in the dishwasher. Then put in on (empty except for the lemons) on the shortest cycle
