accidental download

i seem to have downloaded something and cant get rid of it any advice much appreciated.

it is some sort of anti spy thing and has put a security bar on top of internet explorer and a bit in the bottom right with a blue x which then flashes to a yeloow exclamation mark

it is called spylocked if that is any help and has set its self as my home page

There are plenty of websites which tell you how to remove Spylocked. The clarity of their instructions varies; this looks like the easiest to follow:
