small text...

A friend has been messing around with my computer and has obviously altered some settings. The text on my screen is extremly small. I'm not computer literate so can some one tell me how to get it back to how it was. I've tried view...text size, but its still the same. Thanks in advance.

Try holding CTRL and wiggling your mouse wheel.

Or hold CTRL and press the + key.

On your desktop right click the mouse then select properties then on the little screen that pops up click on settings and you will see another screen come up that has a little slider on it saying more or less, just adjust this to suit the size that you want.

thanks k9, back to how it was...learn something new everyday on A.B.
Is there anyway to adjust the text / font size to exactly how you want it as I seem to have only two choices...
(less) 800 by 600 pixels
or
(more) 1024 by 768 pixels
even though the 'more or less' appears to be on a slider it will only let me choose one or the other,

Go to >view< at the top of the page then choose text size,then choose the option that suits.
