Virgin Plus box to PC

I'm wondering if i can connect my V+ box to my pc? The reason being that i have "recorded" programmes on the V+ box that i would now like to put on to DVD, but i don't have a DVD recorder, only a burner on the PC - does anyone know if this is possible?
