i want to run 2 pcs off of 1 telephone line not wireless I want wired but if I plug two in only 1 works

you need to buy a wired router.

What are you plugging the two into ? ADSL modem a hub ?

you need to run a patch cable between the two computers and set up a network, very easy to do!! that's what I use, takes about 5 Min's, but both PCs need to have network cards, but most modern PCs have them as standard

The only drawback of this system is the main PC with the internet connection needs to be on for second PC to get a connection
