Internet Explorer not connecting to the Internet

I have BT broadband at home, connected through a Netgear ASDL modem router. One computer connected wirelessly refuses to connect to the internet via IE BUT does connect through Outlook and Firefox !! Any (simple) advice & guidance please.

Sounds as if it is the firewall blocking IE on that computer.

Try temporarily disabling the firewall, just long enough to see if it cures the problem.
Don't use IE, it's rubbish anyway. There's probably at least now 3 better browsers out there now.

Thanks Ethel - Somehow the Norton Firewall had decided to block IE !! Settings now changed and all ok .
