Pakman on my mobile

Why has a 'pakman' like icon appearedd on the top of my nokia 3330 screen. It flashes constantly and as yet has not gone away.

its a little while since i had a nokia, but i seem to remember a similar thing on mine was due to an unanswered voicemail. if it is it will not go away until you answer all voicemails, i think you press & hold 2 to listen (it might be 1) hope that solves your prob'
