Hello
turned my laptop on this morning and was welomed with a popup saying
Cannot find file "file:///C:/Windows/system32/spool/DRIVERS/w32x86/LXESUP.HTM" make sure the interent address is correct

well i can still get on internet explorer is it a virus or have i clicked something

please help

Have you by any chance recently installed or uninstalled a Lexmark printer?

well i do have a lexmark printer installed but its been on for months now and no i have not uninstalled anything that i no of
Well, it sounds as though the name of this file has somehow got into either your startup folder or (more likely) into one of the run sections of the registry.

Check your startup folder, and if it's there, just delete it.
If it's not there, you could download a trial version of startup manager, and remove it with that.

I'm guessing that it's just some kind of greeting that should be displayed if you've just installed or upgraded your printer.

it is also on the top of my internet browser page it says file:///C:/Windows/system32/spool/DRIVERS/w32x86/LXESUP.HTM in the answer bank technololgy - windows explorer

so have i changed something on windows explorer
