Hi,
PLEASE can someone help me, I've been going mad for three days trying to fix this! I have an apple mac laptop (Version 10.4.6) and my laptop installed iTunes 6 when I set everything up.
Anyway, a few days ago when I was trying to figure out iTunes I was asked if I wanted a free upgrade to 7.something. I upgraded to find my laptop wasn't advanced enough to open it.
I then went on to remove this new one to try to install the old one (which I believe to be version 6.0.5).
I seem to have tried everything from spending 2.5 hours running the installation discs again to moving the old one to trash and downloading the V6 I mention above. Nothing is working. Can someone PLEASE help me, I'm going mad... I want to start to buy music online! Your help would be so much appreciated. Thanks, Emma

Click the apple logo top-left, and then click 'software update'. let it scan your system, then download all the updates and eventually ask to be restarted.

that should sort it, depending on what you've done.

make sure the power cord is plugged in too.

Thanks very much but this hasn't helped. The new version was there. I've tried again to install 6.0.5 but that one won't appear in the software update. I guess I'm just not supposed to have it! Thanks for trying to help. Emma
