My broadband supplier is Virgin I pay 18 per month, the download speed is up to 2Mb with no download limits.

I wish to change to Orange Broadband at 14.99 (7.49 first 3 months) Download speed up to 2Mb, download limit 2Gb wired ADSL modem included, and free laptop, would I be wise to change?

What is a wired ADSL modem, and if you have to connect to a BT phone line, can you still receive telephone calls while on the internet?

You do have to connect to a bt line if you use Orange, and you can still make phone calls whilst online.

But you should not be paying 18 a month - I'm with Virgin and pay 20 for broadband and tv. Phone them up - tell them you want to cancel and get it reduced to 10 per month,

If you have Virgin telephone tell them you want the two for 20 offer.

Orange Broadband has a terrible reputation.

Do some research before leaving Virgin and going to Orange.
