when i type i cannot get theand for e mail ie writing it comes out when i press shift and a its "" tryed caps lock an everthing what i doing wrong..or whats happened any help much appreciated

Sounds like you have the language set to English(United States).
To change it (in WindowsXP) Click START, then CONTROL PANEL. Select REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS, then ENGLISH( UNITED KINGDOM). Make this your default language. Good Luck
