Windows Live Webcam

I have been talking to my friend in Spain via our webcams for the past six months,in the last week I have taken my computer back to factory settings since then I can't see my friend in Spain but he can see me.
I have checked my webcam and taken it off my computer and downloaded it again and I see a very good webcam picture of me,but when I contact my friend in Spain again all he can see is fuzzy screen and lines.
What have I not done or what should I be doing.

I am not an expert on this.I have a web cam and I would think you would have to use the disc that came with it to reload it as you have probably erased it fom computer by going back to factory settings. Hope this helps

try uninstalling it then reinstall it again.

Thankyou wendilla,I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and when the webcam comes on to the computer my end it is a lovely picture but when I try to talk to my friend in Spain I have no webcam picture his end or mine.
