Hi I ordered BT broadband for my mother on internet today and before I placed the order it said I will be able to upgrade to the wireless router for �30 online. However, the order went through without being offered this option. I have tried to phone them and they pass me to a certain dept THAT NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! Has anyone experienced this and if so, how do you get through to someone?? TIA

Contacting any dept. of BT is an absolute nightmare, many options which all have dead ends, or leave you hanging on the phone until they hope you abandon your enquiry! Try ringing sales on 0800 800 150 & follow the options where you can ask for an advtsor. They must have the worst call centre set up in this country! When you finally reach a human voice, its often difficult to understand what the hell they are saying, as they all speak some strange dialect ! Are their call centres still in India?

Well everyone I have spoken to so far are in the UK, they say they will transfer to the dept on an 'internal line' but they are absolutely useless!
