'scanning' ID on PC
3 Answers
I have been asked to send a scan copy or digital picture of a valid ID with my full name so Omega Internet Solutions can review the information on a pending bank wire transfer.
This sounds odd to me - but if it were OK how would I do this as I don't have a scanner (& wouldn't know how to use it if I did)

Have you not got a friend who can scan the document for you - or failing that, maybe your local copy centre would do it.

Go with your instincts, don't send anything until you've checked it out. You didn't state how ID was to be sent?. Scan copy or digi photo is easiest and quickest way to upload and send photographs via the net without losing detail or quality. Some Internet cafes have scanners and will instruct or help you through it. If its via post print shops will have high resolution colour copiers than can achieve the desired quality.
