forgotten security code on nokia 6280

I want to copy contact numbers from my nokia phone to my sim card as I have recently had a new phone and would like to transfer these accross. However it keeps comming up with an error message saying 'phone memory protected'. I've entered the 12345 code when prompted to add security code but this seems to be incorrect. I don't remember chaging this. If I did I haven't a clue what I would have changed it to!

Any suggestions?

Try 0000 and don't keep trying different numbers as your phone could lock..
If you have never changed the number since buying the phone contact your provider that if its on contract, They will be able to give you the original number
