Children on the Internet

I am the webmaster for my Catholic Parish website (www.StRose.org.uk). Are there any laws/regulations concerning pictures of children on the site? For example, I have a page with pictures of some of the Altar Servers on it - is this ok? I see hundreds of sites with pictures of children on them, but I just want to be sure. Thanks.

Make sure you obtain the written permission of any children used in photos (from their parents or guardians) before publishing them to make sure you don't get into any hot water.
