Why does this site not seem to allow a user using Safari on a Mac to register. I had to switch to the inferior Internet Explorer to register.

I'm using Safari 1.2.2 on OSX 10.3.4 and registered no problem at all here. The only thing that immediately springs to mind is to make sure Cookies are enabled and none of your settings look weird and that your software is up to date.
