I was able to use the customise feature on the Dell site to get a quote for a Dimension 8400 Pentium 4 processor 550 with HT technology (3.40GHz, 800fsb, 1MB cache)XP Pro, 4Gb Ram, 800Gb HDD based system at �2900. Such a system would be massive overkill a more normal system spec would be something like 2.8ghz,1Gb Ram, 80Gb HDD but it all depends what you want to use it for. Cutting edge is nice but it comes with a hefty price tag.
