Outlook 2007, links in mails.

Just installed MS Office 2007...decided to use Outlook instead of OE.

Now in OE any links in mails are clickable...links in Outlook mails show as HTML and i have to copy and paste them into the browser to connect.

Is there a way to make these links active in Outlook...searched the help files but can only find info on phishing mails.

Thanks.

Morning Neil.... :)

Well i've spent a couple of hours on this...can't find an answer anywhere.

I'm going back to OE...i'm more comfortable with it.

Don't really know if i like Word 2007 much either...it's a bit like Word and Publisher all rolled into one.

Oh well...perseverence will get me there i expect...if not it's been a waste ( for me anyway ) of a great deal of money :( only got it because the grandson is used to it at school and he found my older Powerpoint and Front page harder to use.

Thanks anyway Neil

I always use Firefox...when you suggested resetting security in IE in your first answer i swapped over set it as default browser and tried that...then tried Outlook again...zilch.

I then uninstalled Outlook reset IE...installed Outlook...still links as html.

Really spent hours searching on this...tried all sorts...nothing works.

Apparently what should happen ( read so much my head's spinning ) is any links in mail that goes into the junk mail folder wont work...they should show as html...if i want the links to work then if the mail is moved to another folder they will...Lol that's what SHOULD happen...the links should become live...they don't.

Sticking to Outlook Express...spent enough time on this today...waiting for an answer from MS see what suggestions they have...bet they don't work :(

Cheers.
