having recently emigrated to New Zealand we bought a webcam before we left to keep in touch with everyone. we then bought a microphone which plugs into the PC. We have tested both serperatly & both work OK but we can't (for the life of us) get them to work together. HELP!

might be using the same interrupt request (IRQ)to the processor. go into the hardware management on your pc and check the properties for both. if matching then change one. numbers are 0 to 15 but some are reserved. might need to check all on your pc to find a spare one but some can be shared. rgds
What do you think of New Zealand then? Anywhere's got to be better than this place!

Smudge, New Zealand is the most beuatiful country I have ever been to. The winters are quite warm (our 6 six year old was paddling in the sea in the middle of winter!), the people are friendly. we have been here 6 months & feel we couldn't settle back in the UK knowing what we know now. We moved in the first place because we sadly fely the UK was not a suitable place to bring up our children.
