annoying switches

i have recently changed my ISP from talktalk to orange. all seems well except for one thing. my net connection keeps switching to "work offline". has this happened to anyone else and what can be done about it? (my system is vista)

do you have your email set to clear down after sending?

There are so many possible answers to this but if it's not the email one you've already had try your router settings and make sure that your service is set to "always on" and not "available on demand" or "when needed". This is a commeon cause of internet connection dropping after using it
