setting up my own computer for the very first time (ive got a headache!). done the internet and email (i think), so just testing things are working. would someone be so kind as to 'reply' to this question so i can see if things are coming thru ok? many thanks x

Hi mandimoo2,
I started my laptop two years ago and prior to that I had had no experience of computers. I had no help other than getting it set up but if you are in the same position as I was, I can recommend a good starter's book - 'The Beginners Guide to Computers and the Internet' by Susan Holden and Matthew Francis published by Summersdale. I bought several other books previously but this one was the best. Good luck.
