Has any one got any good tips for when I'm using google. I find it really difficult to find anything that I'm looking for. For example I was trying to find information on an old game called New Zealand Story on the PSP. So I type in PSP and new zealand story. All I get back is stuff about the DS. I find this kind of stuff happens all the time and eventually I just give up looking.

put "new zealand story"+"psp"

- with the quote marks and with the + sign. This should ensure you get only pages that contain both phrases in full
I find quotation marks very useful - the force the engine to search the complete string.

In your example I searched:

"New Zealand Story" psp game

Putting the minus sign before words (without a gap) also helps

"New Zealand Story" psp game -ds

Does that improve the search for you?
I know it's not what you're looking for, but i have that on PS2 as part of a compilation... Taito Legends vol 1 - not sure if it's out for PSP.

(Slightly off thread, but thought it may help)

Thanks that + - thing seems to work. And whickerman it is on that comp and available for PSP cheers. Wonder can you get Bubble Bobble and Rainbow Islands.
Yes, the minus sign is useful. If no sign is used, Google automatically assumes a plus sign between terms.
styley - they're both on that same disk...
The 'advanced search' facility is also useful:

For better results, use AltaVista. Standard search here:

you need to use the minus sign with care. If you ask for -DS Google will not call up any pages that have DS on them. But of course the page you want might have both PSP and DS on it, and then you won't see it.
