This will no doubt be simple for you lot out there but bear in mind this is all new to me !......
I want to save the "versions" of a microsoft word document I have created (invoices to various customers) to floppy disc, how do I go about this ?, I carry on getting messages about formatting discs which is all moon-man language to me, thanks in advance.

Select Format... and click Start. Once the disk is formatted, then you can go into Word and start saving your versions. Remember to give each version a different filename (e.g. per customer).
Good luck!
Floppy discs have to be formatted before they can be used - personally I bring up the DOS prompt and type FORMAT A: (you need to have the disc in the drive when you do this) - there's a way to do it in Windows Explorer too but I don't know how. It'll take a few minutes and then you can save whatever you like on it.
