CD or MP3
4 Answers
I have a lot of vinyl records that I want to transfer to a more modern format, so that I can listen to them in the car, in my shed or on the move.
I have had conflicting advice, so am asking for the help of all you intelligent ABers.
Should I transfer them to CD, via my PC, so that I can play The CDs in the car, and get a personal CD player for use when gardening etc?
Or should I download to an MP3 player and get an FM transmitter to play through the car radio?
Either way I know I will have to buy a deck that can transfer via a USB connection.

Once in digital format on your PC, you can either burn them to disc (better quality) or rip them into MP3 files and download them to a MP3 player.
In your situation, I would burn to disc (to play in the car) and buy an MP3 player to listen in the garden (or wherever).
Forget about the FM transmitter.
