Is there any program you can use which encrypts my internet usage. As in no-one can see what you've been viewing?

You can clear your browser history before logging off, but if you access the internet through a router, the router may have a logging facility which will show every site you've been to.
If you are using XP or Vista you can set it up so each person who uses the computer has their own "logon".

When a logon is created in Windows it creates a small area on hard disk where all your personal files are held, and these are separate from other people personal files.

When you create a logon for yourself I think you get the option to make your files private, which means no one else who uses the PC can look at your files.

So you could create a logon for yourself called say FRED, then GIVE IT A PASSWORD.

Assuming no one else knows your password you can logon and do what you like and nobody can see your personal files.

You can create a logon in the control panel with the option "User Accounts".
You could use something like Tor:

http://www.torproject.org/

However, that only provides some level of anonymity. It'll do what you want it to do though.
luckily no

what you see and do is logged by your ISP and the records are kept for 5 years.

however and whatever you do .... your ip address is the destination - or origin .... whatever methods you use - assuming what you are doing is bad enough - you can be traced. as in the recent terrorist and child porn cases .....

your best precaution is to be so insignificant you aren't worth the effort.

if it's just the temp files .... again ... if you are worth it .... forensic file recovery is impressive .... and costly..... are you worth it?
