Go to control panel and uninstall it from there. Then delete the icon on your screen.
Yahoo tries to dominate and take over the computer. In order for me to be rid of it completely I had to clean the hard drive of its entirety and then reinstall all the programs.
It could have been installed as part of you installing something else. For example, if you go to www.adobe.com and download the flash player, it will install Google toolbar unless you specifically click on the "do not install" box.
I know I'm probabaly being a bit thick, but what exactly do I click on.
I went to control panel and clicked on add/remove programmes and couldn't find anything that said yahoo!!
if you sure there's nothing in control panel with yahoo in its name then most likely you don't have it installed. just go ahead and delete the yahoo icon you see on the screen.
I think I know what you are referring to. That toolbar you are seeing is not installed on your computer. It is part of the Answerbank page. Don't worry about it. I have it also, I believe we all have it.
