paid banner ads

I just started a website, and am looking to generate extra revnue from paid banner ads, like the ones you see on sites like this.

Any ideas?

Are you getting enough hits to generate income? Google adsense is ideal due to it displaying ads that match the content of your website rather than random casino, viagra etc.

If you aren't getting many hits then I doubt anyone will want to pay to advertise on your site.
