Hi,
I have recently moved house and the TV in my room now has a really bad picture. I just have an aerial that plugs into the back of the TV. We live in the top floor of our flats and are on high ground. There is a large building next door so am not sure if that blocks the signal.
Anyway I've been thinking about getting Freeview. I don't know much about how it works and was wondering if it would improve the signal in my room. I have checked and it covers our area. Is it worth giving this a go?
Thanks

I am using an indoor aerial for my TV though. It was actually ok the other day but then my friend used it on the TV downstairs. Since then I can't get a good signal from it in my room.
I wasn't sure if freeview would enhance the signal, seeing as we do have an aerial outside too. It's something I want to get anyway.
Not sure what a signal booster is. Is that another aerial? Never had signal problems anywhere else before so don't know a lot about these things!

Freeview boxes are cheap so give it a go. Sometimes the reception is better on freeview than analogue.
If you buy your box from Tesco you can take it back for a refund if it doesn't work.
If you find you do get a good picture with Freeview you can think about investing in a better box, or a hard drive recorder with freeview built in.
