Mobile reception

I have an elderly Nokia phone, Where I live is a nogo area, to send messages I have to go 200 yds . I do however recieve messages. What I would like to know is there any way that I can send mobile messages from my pc ?

Yes I use my PC to Send Texts.
Download SKYPE you can then make free calls to other PC,s And Cheep calls to Landlines.

If you go on to your provider's network (eg orange, o2 etc) they will often let you send texts from their site using your number.
