Digi-box problem

I have 2 identical digi-boxes. One of them has suddenly stopped picking up the signal from the remote control.
Both remotes operate the box in the living room, but neither remote operates the box in the kitchen. It hasn't been moved and nothing is blocking it.
Has anyone got any ideas?

My digibox does that from time to time. Unplugging it and plugging it back in has always done the trick for me.
