my computer and my microphone

I,m not a fast typer or a good speller so i bought a microphone but i can,t make it work with my computer. Ican hear my voice, but what i want is for the words to come out on my screen, how do i make my mic. work with my computer.

This sounds like a stupid question but did you get the necessary software with it and install it correctly? It sounds like (excuse the pun!) that seems to be the problem seeing as you can hear yourself but not see yourself if you get my drift.

the mic will not automatically work as you want it to ! u need to buy voice recognition software in order to do this that works with ms office products.it takes a lot of training tho
