Silverlight

Hello , may I ask if anyone knows what Silverlight 1 is ?I am doing a windows update and it is an optional update listed. :-0 xx

Silverlight is Microsoft's attempt to write something similar to Adobe Flash.

Adobe Flash is used for creating fancy moving graphics for web sites.

I dont think many (any?) web sites use it, although I guess Microsoft will start using it on their web sites.

As far as I know there is no harm in installing it.
