Well, here I am again. My life seems to be becoming filled with "More questions than answers."

Last night I was doing some research and suddenly, the page I was on said I needed MS Silverlight installed to be able to properly see the page?

Well my firewall and AV said it was okay and the site was not a known threat; so I allowed it to install.

Nothing is wrong and as far as I can tell, I don't really see what all the fuss was about.

Yeah, I know, sorry, but I try to give good background before I ask a question.

So, just what does Miscrosoft Silverlight give me for my PC, and is it worth leaving it installed?

Thanks for any enlightenment.

Silverlight is Microsofts equivalent to flash. if i make an animated banner or something in flash you will need flash to view it. If i created it with silverlight, you'd need silverlight to view it.
