how do i save stuff my way

whenever i try to download a video on my pc from youtube, it goes diectly on a program called CyberLink PowerDVD. i plays once and then dissappears. there is no save button or open button. how do i save videos from on windows media player. it is much easier to use for me.
p.s. i use converttube.com to download videos.

A tab automatically appears on top of all video including youtube - click this and it automatically downloads and saves the video.

A little utility I use is called clipnabber

With this you dont need to download anything. Just put the URL of the You tube clip into the toolbar and away you go.
