music bit rate (again)

hi guys, i posted a question here last night and had some good answers, but all of the programes you mentioned were to convert the format, e.g. mp3 of the music, and i couldnt reduce the actual bit-rate of the music.

i have audacity, which is totally awesome, but will only change one song at a time, and i have 300Gb of music, so not realy that praticle.

if anybody could tell me of something that will just reduce the bit-rate of music, i would very greatful.

One of the answers suggested was Musicmatch jukebox. This will do it but you have to set the bit rate before converting. You can convert bulk files

I use it all the time and love it.
