Can anyone help please, I cannot get the above printer to work when printing from microsoft word. All that happens is that it does all the printing motions but nothing appears on the paper. When I print from the internet it is fine.

what about printing from notepad?

check your print settings in word ... also make sure the font is black.
update the HP driver

install the microsoft driver (try the 560)

then as a last resort ... uninstall ... reboot .... reinstall office / word.

you don't say which version ... but the print driver sets the onscreen document display ... so if one can't see the other ...
