picking up broadband signal

I have been trying to connect via wireless to daughters upstairs computer. every time i try the downstairs computer to thi i keep picking up a default signal. i have put in my daughters password, and tried changeing the order of preferences, but still it connects to the default. i have even tried removing the default, but it reappears when i try to connect to my daughters computer.
if anyone can help i shall say thank you in advance, as i don't use this computer very much. thank you.

I think you are confusing networking and network

the network connects you to 'tinternet and to 'tother 'puters

to network with one of the other 'puters you need to do a couple of things.

rather than re-invent the wheel
